Neuenbürg Palace

The Neuenbürg Palace in the Upper Enz valley in the northern Black Forest region is a popular destination for excursions for the whole family. Inside the museum visitors can literally walk into a theatre play, Das kalte Herz (the Cold Heart) based on the fairy tale by Wilhelm Hauff, a Biedermeier poet and novelist. The exhibition on the history of the palace and its region, the palace restaurant, regular special exhibits and numerous cultural events throughout the year all serve to make a visit a memorable experience.
