The museum is closed until November 30th!

Dear visitors, the new measures adopted by the federal and state governments in the fight against the rapid spread of the coronavirus provide that institutions in the cultural sector will initially close to the public. The Badisches Landesmuseum, including its branches and branch museums, will therefore remain closed from Monday, November 2nd, 2020 up to and including November 30th, 2020. You can still visit us at  www.landesmuseum.de/digital

Thank you for your understanding and stay healthy!

The Badisches Landesmuseum

The Badisches Landesmuseum (Baden State Museum) is the largest cultural and historical museum for the Baden region, and presents Baden's culture in an interdisciplinary manner through dialogue with cultural witnesses from all over the world, with a focus on Europe.

It contains objects representing 50,000 years of international cultural history: World culture, state history and everyday regional culture are brought together and linked to create an overarching exhibition of history and culture.

In addition to its main headquarters at Karlsruhe Palace, eight other museums and archives are part of the Baden State Museum, from Bruchsal to Salem.
