- Badisches Landesmuseum
The Badisches Landesmuseum in Karlsruhe Palace has reopened its doors. The permanent exhibitions Ancient Cultures, Middle Ages and Renaissance are open to the public. A maximum of 90 visitors is allowed in the museum. From June 1st a reduced admission price of 4 euros applies. Children / young people under the age of 18 and registered users receive free admission.
The Badisches Landesmuseum (Baden State Museum) is the largest cultural and historical museum for the Baden region, and presents Baden's culture in an interdisciplinary manner through dialogue with cultural witnesses from all over the world, with a focus on Europe.
It contains objects representing 50,000 years of international cultural history: World culture, state history and everyday regional culture are brought together and linked to create an overarching exhibition of history and culture.
In addition to its main headquarters at Karlsruhe Palace, eight other museums and archives are part of the Baden State Museum, from Bruchsal to Salem.
