The non-profit association “Freunde des Badischen Landesmuseums e.V.” [Friends of the Badisches Landesmuseum] has been supporting the museum since 1985 and celebrates its 35th birthday in 2020. Around 900 private individuals and companies have helped shape the cultural life in Baden by supporting the State Museum with purchases, research projects, exhibits, publications, and cultural mediation.

For its 100th anniversary, the association gave the museum a very special gift: the virtual reality experience Audienz im Schloss - Eine virtuelle Zeitreise ins Barock!
