The Badisches Landesmuseum considers itself an educational and experiential facility, inviting visitors to discover and explore. Its high-quality collections cover a broad time span from the Stone Age to the present, always offering an opportunity to rethink current questions.
We want all of our visitors to feel welcome here, which is why we offer a wide variety of personal and media-based educational methods. Individuals can select the objects and focal areas that most appeal to them.
Programs offer access to historical worlds through lively dialogue. We are working to test out and implement new formats, including digital transmission formats and participatory work.
We want to make the museum a place of meeting and discussion, where our visitors engage with both the known and the unknown to gain new knowledge – just as we ourselves do.
